About Me

Hi. My name is Ami Hassler, and Bookami.com is my homage to the wonderful world of children's literature. From 1999 until 2007 I was a children's book buyer for Borders. I have also worked as a kids clerk in Barnes & Noble, a manager in an independent bookstore, and my book career began as a library worker in the 3rd grade. In other words, I'm an equal opportunity bibliophile who just hopes that the world of children's lit continues to grow and thrive.
